And the nominations are…

Brana Ivanovic taking out the Swansea defender by blasting the ball directly in to the Swansea defenders nuts. A case of count them don’t rub them.

Brana Ivanovic again, this time our Serbian defender picked the ball up just outside his own penalty area and then went on a barnstorming run almost to the edge of the Swansea penalty area. At this point he picks out (quite rightly) Eden Hazard making a run to his right and passes to Hazard fully expecting a return pass to he could score a stunning goal. Hazard does not pass back and Brana gives him a mouthful – clearly Brana believes he has earned the right as our second best striker!

Diego Costa has made a phenomenal start to the season – even better than any of us could have hoped for. He is the kind of player we love – physical, hard working, 100% and he scores goals all while never taking a step back. A legend in the the making. When he was subbed on 71 minutes shortly after completing his first hat-trick the Stamford Bridge crowd rose as one to applaud and cheer off our new hero. Nice moment.
