Nemanja Matic for an imperious performance where he ran the midfield, shut Liverpool down and tackled more on his own than the three Liverpool midfielders together! No wonder Jose praised him as Chelsea’s best player at the moment.
Diego Costa – a great performance just for his work rate, fight and willingness to chase any lost cause. Scored the winner of course!
John Terry – never put a foot wrong and always led the team well.
