Stamford Chidge is joined by Jonathan Kydd, Dan Silver and Clayton Beerman in an attempt to understand the news that John ‘Captain, Leader, Legend’ Terry’s days at Stamford Bridge are numbered and to discuss the Cup win against MK Dons.

4741533Tonight we were supposed to be talking about an excellent 5-1 win against MK Dons, an Oscar hat-trick, hell, even a goal by Eden Hazard. But instead, we learnt last night that it seems that John Terry’s illustrious career with the club is coming to an end. We all knew he couldn’t go on forever, but surely the club would have the sense to realise the impact of the leadership characteristics someone like JT might have on the club on or off the pitch at a time of major transition. Is there such a thing as gratitude and loyalty anymore, let alone good management? Whatever the ins and outs – and I’m sure there is fault on both sides – it bears yet more testament to the emotional disconnect and palpable discord that so many supporters increasingly have with the club and modern football.

On the show tonight we’ll be giving our view on the JT leaving saga, why do the club just not get it, has JT manipulated the situation and is it all just boardroom politics? Why are the club ignoring the football case for keeping JT and what does it all mean for us the supporters.

In part three we’ll look back at a very good performance against MK Dons with a classy Oscar hat-trick and even an Eden Hazard goal and we’ll be having a chat about Chelsea’s transfer activity this window and asking why on earth does the Board keep getting it so wrong.

To wrap up in part four we’ll have the usual round up of Chelsea supporter news with three cracking emails from listeners.
