Stamford Chidge is joined by Jonathan Kydd, Ross Mooring and Clayton Beerman to discuss Chelsea’s season opening win against West Ham on Saturday…

4842594Chelsea kicked of their season last night with Diego Costa burying a late winner against West Ham London. Cue scenes, but most of all from new Manager Antonio Conte. How fantastic to see such passion from our manager – something evidently lacking from a certain individual last season. In some respects it was a case of déjà vu. Loads of chances created but not being clinical enough; Hazard back to his mercurial best; Costa misbehaving and incurring the wrath of a crazed media. But, so good to get off to a winning start. Ahh Chelsea and football…it’s good to have you back.

On the show tonight we’ll be talking Costa – the good, the bad and the ugly and asking has Hazard got his mojo back?

In part two we’ll be explaining how Kante brings balance to the force; celebrating Conte’s passion and pondering that we are not yet the finished article.

In part three, we’ll be talking FanDuel and inviting you to join in this weekend’s Fantasy Football challenge and looking back at how well we all did last week, plus Ross has some tips for you. We’ll also be talking to Clayton about his book: Palpable Discord.

In part four we’ll have the usual round up of Chelsea supporter news and a couple of emails from you the listeners.
