Stamford Chidge is joined by Chelsea Legend Kerry Dixon to look back at the defeat against Spurs which ended our 13 match winning run and to look forward to the 3rd Round FA Cup tie against Peterborough this weekend.

Whilst downhearted by the defeat to rivals Sp*rs last night Chidge and Kerry take comfort in the fact that Chelsea are still five points clear at top of the league. In truth the match was a cagey, scrappy and tight affair and decided by fine margins. As Gary Cahill said, we’ll go again!

Looking to the 3rd Round FA Cup tie against Peterborough on Sunday Kerry recalls some of his experiences playing for Chelsea in the FA Cup as well as pondering some of the changes Conte may make to the side. Will John Terry get a game? He is the only player still at Chelsea who played the last time we met Peterborough in the Cup in 2001.

Chelsea won 5-0 in 2001 and Chidge and Kerry expect a similar outcome this Sunday. Let’s hope we don’t have to eat those words!

Finally, Kerry gives a warm tribute to John Obi Mikel who is rumored to be leaving Chelsea – a player much understood but a valiant servant to the club, who will always be remembered for his ‘man of the match’ display in the 2012 Champions League Final.
