joins Stamford Chidge to look back at the win against Hull and preview the tie v Brentford and the massive match against Liverpool next Tuesday.

Kerry and Chidge admit the win against Hull was much tougher than they thought, but after all, these are the wins you have to grind out if you want to win the title. Thank goodness for who again scored the crucial goal and seems to have his head back in the game.

Another who’s head appears to be back in the game is and his performances this season are contributing hugely to Chelsea’s defensive solidity and success. Kerry believes that if he keeps this up he will undoubtedly be the best goalkeeper in the world. Let’s hope Chelsea can keep hold of him!

With going off after 60 minutes against Hull, Chidge and Kerry wonder whether he needs to toughen up mentally as well as physically in order to gain the consistency he needs to be one of the best players in the world.

Turning to the Brentford FA Cup tie, Kerry predicts an Chelsea win but it will depend on the attitude of the players to the match and frankly Conte’s changes should not make any difference, as whatever team he picks should be good enough to beat Brentford. That said it is a West London derby and should be a cracking atmosphere with 6,000 Bees buzzing in the Bridge! No doubt the Chelsea faithful will be warmly welcoming back , who as a youngster many hoped would become a success at Chelsea.

A much bigger test awaits on Tuesday night when Chelsea travel to Liverpool who are in a run of poor form. Kerry believes that whilst it would be great to pick up all three points, a draw would not be a disaster in the longer term view of the title race. Chidge believes that Chelsea’s solidity in defence and ability to attack with speed on the break may be able to exploit Liverpool who will no doubt want to come at Chelsea. All will be revealed next week!
