Rumours circulated yesterday that the Blues have been given the opportunity to sign the PSG winger.
As was reported yesterday, the Blues have allegedly been given a chance to acquire Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain in the forthcoming January window.
Seemingly, the French giants are still enduring the financial repercussions from their summer of astronomical spending, and they’ll utilise the upcoming window as an opportunity to balance their books.
The 25-year-old has registered 212 appearances for PSG, and he’s amassed a decent total of 44 goals during that time. In fact, last season was his most prolific for the Ligue 1 favourites as he scored 19 goals in all competitions.
Despite the success he’s achieved in France, there is a lingering feeling that the Brazilian winger has failed to fulfil his potential and a relocation to a new club could ease the process of attaining his best form.
