We look back at the show recorded in Sept 2009 celebrating the launch of the book “Chelsea Here, Chelsea There” written by Chelsea terrace stalwarts Mark Worrall, Kelvin Barker and ‘Hocus McPocus’, recalling the momentous day on August 25th 1984 when Chelsea celebrated their return to the first division and the big time by taking over 20,000 away to Arsenal.
In the big news of the week, FIFA have slapped Chelsea with a 2 transfer window ban for inducing Gael Kakuta to break his contract with Lens. We ask whether this is another case of the powers that be ganging up on the Chels or are Kenyon and Arneson to blame. How will it affect Chelsea’s ability to compete and doesn’t it all sound rather ‘proper Chels’ with our usual ability to shoot ourselves in the foot just when things are going so well.
Just like Chelsea in 1984, Chelsea FanCasts very own legend, Chel Tel, is most definitely back with a new series called “Chel Tel’s Classic Years” where he recalls a season from his and Chelsea’s illustrious past. No prizes for guessing which season he’ll be featuring today!
Martin will be doing another bumper edition of “Dear Mart” including answers to questions on how to get your girlfriend to like Chelsea, most disappointing Chelsea match, Chelsea’s top 3 prospects and what is the difference between inducing and tapping up.
And finally, Chidge looks at what you lot have been posting on the Facebook Group on “You’re on CFFC” with all your reactions to the FIFA transfer ban
The Chelsea Football FanCast: Chelsea Here, Chelsea There, Chelsea every f***ing where la la la la la la la la la !!!
