015 Drogba bannerOn a night when we had the chance to say farewell properly to a Chelsea Legend, it would be churlish not to make some reference to it.

The Chelsea supporters did themselves and Didier Drogba proud with a rousing send off, pre-empted by the unfurling of a top banner honouring Drogba. More important we kept the love in to before and after and got behind the team for the full 90 minutes.

Thankfully Drogba did his bit by being largely anonymous for most of the match apart from a comical attempt at an overhead kick and then skying a free kick so far over the bar that it actually hit the banner proclaiming his name in the Matthew Harding018 European Flags Upper.

Talking of flags, the sterling effort put in by Mr X and Darren and Pablo from the Chelsea FanCast plus many other willing helpers saw both European flags displayed before the match for the first time. They really look very impressive, and there is more to come!

022 Beer StrawOur last nomination this week goes to the ingenious use of the flag poles to the much loathed plastic Chelsea flags that the club dish out for free before the game to ‘add’ to the atmosphere. One of our mates decided that the flag pole would be better used as large straw through which he could drink a well earned celebratory pint. If that is not a celery moment than I don’t know what is!

If you want to vote for your Celery Moment nomination then all you have to do is vote below. We will be revealing the results and discussing what we voted for on the Chelsea FanCast on Monday 24th March. Watch the show live at 19.00-21.00 GMT (Voting closes at 19.30 GMT) by going to sportstonightlive.com or on this website here or of course you can listen and post in the chat room at Mixlr
