How do you pick a moment of skill and flair in a match where you have absolutely smashed your rivals 6-0. Difficult nay impossible, but its a dirty job and we have to do it.

We’ve tried to make it simple this week, and in spite of all the flicks and tricks on offer in the match on Saturday we’ve gone for three goals.

1976579779In no particular order we start with Eto’o’s goal. Superb break at pace by Schurrle and superb movement from Eto’o before he received the pass, but the ‘Don’ still had a lot to do. He pulled the ball back from right to left leaving Oxlade-Chamberlain on his backside to open up the space to shoot and then with surgical precision placed the ball to the keeper’s right. Lovley build up but an exquisite finish by a world class striker.

The second goal was a proper Mourinho goal. The key to beating Arsenal imagesCATV3ROGon Saturday was pressing Arsenal high up the pitch and not giving them a minute to settle, and then breaking at speed towards their goal. Matic did exactly this as he disposessed an Arsenal player before putting Schurrle through – Eto’o making a dummy run to draw the defender and give Schurrle the space to shoot across goal for Chelsea’s second. A perfect execution of the game plan.

150277774_oscar_552505bOur third nomination is for Oscar’s goal. It started with an absolutely brilliant flicked pass from Schurrle to Torres who attacked the right flank and then put in a perfect cross for Oscar who arrived at speed in to the box before dinking the ball over the keeper. Great speed and technical ability by all involved.
