Virtual General Meeting Next Wednesday (28th May)
As part of the commitment by the board of the Chelsea Supporters Trust to have formal dialogue with members four times a year, for our final Special General Meeting of the season we will be be holding a Virtual General Meeting (VGM) at 19.00 BST on Wednesday 28th May. This event will be hosted by the Chelsea Fancast through their media channels (details below).
By holding a virtual dialogue, it means that all CST voting members can participate, including those unable to physically attend meetings. This is an experiment but, if feedback is positive, it is something we would consider doing on an annual basis. The CST Annual General Meeting in August will of course be a formal meeting, at a location in the SW6 area.
The agenda will be as follows :-
- Welcome and Introductions
- Safe Standing – Roadshow, Survey Results, Next Steps
- CFCTickets/CST Ticket Exchange proposal to club – rationale, proposal content, current status
- Ongoing issues raised by members – Arsenal away, Madrid away, overseas club membership etc.
- Issues over the summer
- Wider issues – FSF/SD Football Weekend, League 3 etc
- August AGM and CST board elections – timescale, key actions etc
- Questions From Members
- Any Other Business
It is not anticipated the VGM will last more than 60-75 minutes.
Members will be able to listen live, and voting members will be able to ask questions in the ‘mixlr chat room’ (not as complicated as it sounds) and these will be answered by members of the CST board.
Questions can also be sent in during the live virtual meeting* via the Trust’s twitter account @ChelseaSTrust and these can also be sent in prior to the meeting via twitter and email by the membership@chelseasupporterstrust.com address.
