Diego Costa really is a beast. A superb striker who loves to put himself about, and Chelsea supporters have always loved a player with a bit of nastiness in him – someone who doesn’t take a step back.  Seamus Coleman had been winding up Costa all game in an attempt to get him sent off – well how else would Everton be able to sort him out. It was therefore utterly fitting that when Coleman put the ball in to his own net from Hazard’s cross, Costa picked the ball out of the net and made sure that Coleman knew about it. Cue mayhem as ‘Taliban Tim’ Howard loses the plot and attacks Costa and then Azpilicueta. Did Costa take a step back – NO!

John Terry gets a horrible press and is hated by most football fans – but not at Chelsea! We love him and always will, and we know what he is all about. In typical style in a post match interview with Sky Sports, JT was quick to dedicate the win to Chelsea’s former Life President, Lord ‘Dickie’ Attenborough who sadly passed away the weekend before.

Some may think that the next nomination is a bit odd – we’ve plumped for the Yellow kit. Well, some may recall that the Chelsea FanCast has many times campaigned for the return of the yellow kit, worn with pride in the 1960’s and 1970’s and most recently worn in our FA Cup final victory over Everton. Its good to see it back. It is a proper Chelsea away kit. All they need to do now is  bring back the blue shorts to go with it. Oh, and our record of victories wearing the yellow kit is also very impressive – much better than the horrible black kit!

If you want to vote for the Celery Moment then all you have to do is vote below. We will be revealing the results and discussing what we voted for on the Chelsea FanCast on Tuesday 2nd September. Watch the show live at 19.00-21.00 GMT (Voting closes at 19.30 GMT) by going to sportstonightlive.com or on this website here or of course you can listen and post in the chat room at Mixlr

Chelsea wiped the floor with us yesterday fair & square,I took my 4 year old son to his first game yesterday (what a Jonah!!!!) but where we sat in the park end a number of small children were hit by coins thrown from the Chelsea end, as you can imagine retaliation was inevitable which I do not condone at all.I left after 75 minutes I just didn’t feel safe with my son. It was a shame to see that going on at such an amazing game of football but it shows we still have that element at matches were both sides still have balloon heads causing hassle. Costa is a throw back to how English centre forwards played many moons ago, he was brilliant. All the best anyway for the season & please go to Analfield again & wipe the floor with that lot ‘cos it’s there year’ YAWN!!

I’m appalled to hear that mate – we are very quick to criticise opposition fans when they do that to us and I’m sorry you had to put up with it – hope your son isn’t put off by the idiots ruining it for others – whoever they are. Fantastic game wasn’t it and Everton more than played their part – I don’t think anyone else will put 6 past you at home this season – and yes we’ll do the job at Scousehampton even if it is their year!! Thanks for the post and all the best!

Cheers for your kind comments, I would love to say no other team will put 6 past us at goodison but we are awful at the back! I think they only thing my son will be put off with is seeing us get a hiding at home!!!! his Mum has tried to turn him into a Liverpool fan which ain’t f**kin happening over my dead body!!!!!!!! all the best for the season. Costa will tear the premiership up this season bigtime.

Costa winding up Coleman and rubbing it in on the OG. Even getting a yellow out of it. Proper Chels.
