Chant of the Match: Chelsea v Leicester August 23rd

If you are playing Leicester it is mandatory to sing “We all follow the Chelsea, over land and sea…And Leicester!!” and it was duly belted out on several occasions.

Probably should have got a nomination last week, but the “Steve Gerrard, Gerrard, he slipped on his fucking arse, gave it to Demba Ba, Steve Gerrard, Gerrard” song got a loud airing yesterday. The best thing about this song is the way it has been taken up by so many supporters at clubs throughout the country thereby proving how loathed Liverpool FC, their Captain Steve Gerrard and their fans really are. But we sang it first so remember that!

And finally, bored with Leicester fans ‘championship’ songs they got the obligatory “Who the fucking hell are you” treatment from the Matthew Harding Lower. Fair play to them though, they sold their allocation, turned up and got behind their team. Now, you’ve had your day out, now fuck off home!!
