Chant of the Match: Everton v Chelsea

14910233300_1b46b8a3a3_zAnd the nominations are:

A very loud and proper ‘Ten Men Went To Mow’ – always good to hear that from the away faithful!

A raucous version of the old classic “Ole Ole Ole Ole Chelsea, Chelsea” which seems to be gaining in popularity with the younger crowd. Good to hear and it would be nice to get a few more of the old songs back.

And finally, largely thanks to Romelu Lukaku giving it the Chelsea support when Everton scored, he got the obligatory “Chelsea Reject, Chelsea Reject, Hello, Hello”, but this was humorously followed up with “He’s better than you, he’s better than you, Fernando Torres, he’s better than you”. If Lukaku had a fifth of Torres attitude and professionalism, let alone his talent, then he might have been a success at Chelsea. Obviously more suited to being a big fish in a small pond. Sssshhhhhhhh!
