Fabregas’ sublime and visionary pass to Schurrle for the second goal. Pure class, an early contender for goal of the season, and capped off a very impressive debut for the ex-Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder. It appears that you can buy class after all Arsenal fans 🙂

Second nomination goes to the superb interplay in the first half between Oscar to Hazard to Costa to Hazard who couldn’t quite finish it off, but it was still brilliant.

And finally, Diego Costa’s debut goal gets the nod, not so much that it was a supreme bit of skill that made me go oooooh, but that he absolutely belted it – no mucking about – and that he managed to open his account for us in 17 mins unlike so many before him.
