Fabregas’ slide rule pass to Diego Costa for the opening goal. The fact that Chelsea had put numerous passes together before this, without allowing Everton a touch of the ball makes it even sweeter. Superb ball retention, superb pass and top strikers finish. Definitely very sexual!

Courtois’ unbelievable save from Mirallas shot when the score was 5-3 (I think but I may have lost count). Score then and it might have got a bit wobbly for Chelsea. An absolutely world class save from our young keeper.

Mikel must have had a nosebleed and the sight of him haring through the middle towards goal was indeed surreal – but then it was that kind of day! The underrated midfielder then slickly back heeled the ball to Costa who with some work still to do finished it expertly to make the score 6-3 and round off a fabulous display.
