For me the stand out performance was from our big Serbian – Brana Ivanovic. Very unlucky not to get MOTM last week, he put in another superb display. It may be that the threat of Felipe Luis has galvanised Brana, and on Saturday he was solid at the back and foraged regularly down the right flank, setting up attacks as well as getting in to the box and had a a couple of good efforts saved. He also created the assist for Costa’s goal. And did I mention the ‘rabona’ or better still ‘Brabona’???
Courtois has settled in to the Chelsea side as if he’s been there for years. I’ll admit its still weird seeing him in goal instead of Petr Cech, and he does look alarmingly like the Policeman from ‘Allo Allo’ but there is no doubting his ability. He was called upon several times when needed, and arguably turned the game with his save from Nugent which could have put us 1-0 down. The mark of a great keeper is to keep his concentration throughout the game for when he is needed and it appears that Courtois can do this.
Finally, Hazard is still warming up but there were signs during this game that he is getting back to the Eden Hazard we know and love with some lovely skills and runs to set up his colleagues. He capped this off with a great solo goal although to be fair the keeper was done by a deflection and he brilliantly kept the ball away from several lunging Leicester defenders near the corner flag in the dying minutes.

ivanovic because he kept pressure on the opponents to the end
If Courtois doesn’t make that HUGE save, then the pucker factor on the rest of the team goes through the roof. My guess the best result is then a 1-1 draw. CFC needs to put 2 full halves together.
Courtois was the man of the match.not only one save but a number of saves in 1st half that would have seen chelsea going down by two goals….lets not hide the truth,Courtois is better than Cech.if cech cannot be our second goalkeeper then he should leave…

I think ivan was the man of the match. bicos he made most goal scoring efforts and even open it to costa’s goal by tricking two defenders. as a defender.
Invanovic is d man of d match
Brana and courtois hard to seperate but probably just Brana
in my opinion, courtois is the real man of the match of the game. because he did twice great saved that must be a goal.
