Courtois has settled in to the Chelsea side as if he’s been there for years. I’ll admit its still weird seeing him in goal instead of Petr Cech, and he does look alarmingly like the Policeman from ‘Allo Allo’ but there is no doubting his ability. He was called upon several times when needed, and arguably turned the game with his save from Nugent which could have put us 1-0 down. The mark of a great keeper is to keep his concentration throughout the game for when he is needed and it appears that Courtois can do this.
Finally, Hazard is still warming up but there were signs during this game that he is getting back to the Eden Hazard we know and love with some lovely skills and runs to set up his colleagues. He capped this off with a great solo goal although to be fair the keeper was done by a deflection and he brilliantly kept the ball away from several lunging Leicester defenders near the corner flag in the dying minutes.
