And the nominations are:

Going 1-0 down unexpectedly, with JT scoring an own goal, and the team under the cosh somewhat – the perfect response from the Matthew Harding Lower was to boom out “Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea, Chelsea”. Nice bit of defiance and a proper response.

In the second half, a lovely rendition “Super Chelsea” from all parts of the ground. Not often heard these days but always good when we do and also good that the whole stadium picked it up.

Costa has become an instant hero and it seems that he has already got 2 songs. When he scored there was an instant “Diego” boomed out quickly followed by “Diego Costa clap clap clap clap clap” I prefer the latter which was also boomed out by the whole stadium in response to his exit from the pitch having been subbed. Well deserved and very loud.

This vote is a mere formality.
At this moment, nothing compares to the shooting star that is Diego Costa.
We’ve seen history. Relish it you Blues…
