And the nominations are:

Phil Dowd took his inept performance to new levels when he elbowed Cesc Fabregas off the ball – a clear foul. Obviously he didn’t book himself as he wasn’t wearing a red shirt – much to our surprise as he was probably the ‘Manc of the Match’.

Didier Drogba rolled back the years with a brilliant near post header for a goal that was reminiscent of his equalising goal in the Champions League final in Munich. His goal celebration was equally flamboyant.

The Chelsea Away support – fantastic all season, excelled themselves all afternoon and out sung the  Mancs and managed to get to the game in spite of Virgin trains best efforts.
