And the nominations are:

Oscar who put in a thunderous performance and showed great movement and positional and link up play, tenacious tackling and back tracking and capped it all off with a superb free-kick reminiscent of Zola in his prime in its execution.

Nemanja Matic has really got into his groove in the last few games and he is the Rolls Royce engine upon which Chelsea’s flair players can propel forwards. Often unnoticed and underrated, Matic  is becoming the rock of this Mourinho’s Chelsea Mk II.

Fabregas has made a fantastic start to his Chelsea career – already with a massive amount of assists. He has added another dimension to Chelsea’s midfield play and is the key to unlocking the door of many a parked bus. I’m delighted to see that he has added some steel to his game and is not afraid to mix it with the opposition and never shirks a challenge. His performance was best summed up with the pinball wizardry he showed in what must be a contender for goal of the season.
