Nemanja Matic with another rock like performance. He is rapidly becoming one of our most important players and I just love his commitment.
Eden Hazard in for his what seems like obligatory nomination for Man of the Match this week. He is the Chelsea player who makes the difference in games, and big games at that. A constant threat when running at defences, superb link up play, and he has vastly improved his tracking back and defensive duties. He could have scored a superb goal but it did lead to the corner when Drogba scored so justice was done. I hope someone wraps up his ankles which must take a battering in every game. Becoming a genuinely world class player.
Thibeaut Courtois had another impressive game. The mark of a good goalkeeper is that you don’t notice them. The mark of a great ‘keeper is that you cannot fail to notice them. Courtois’ command of the penalty area is almost unparalleled – you just know he is going to catch or punch the dangerous cross away – and always makes the right decision in the process. Add to that a few excellent saves in a match that he above all deserved to see out with a clean sheet.

I thought Hazard was really sharp and dominant; he should have scored when he broke through. United had no answer for him.
Hazard is slowly drifting from being a team player to being an individual skillful player. Which kills opportunities some times. After dribbles there were times in the first half he should have given a through pass to Oscar but he kept dribbling and lost the ball not even to a foul. Nemanja Matic did great
my Coach was Man of the match for taking off Hazard , William & Oscar that each of them Can hold the ball for 3min & Instead of removing IVA he remove William looks like a Compensation for his lost friend Van gal
Takin off ivanovic wouldnt av bn a good decision, he needed a 5man defence. Ivanovic was just unfortunate to get a 2nd yellow for an offence which wasnt intentional.
