Steve Holland, Chelsea’s Assistant Coach making the players go to the Chelsea support and applaud them. The usual suspects such as JT and Drogba need no reminding of course, and frankly nor should the others, but well done to Steve for making them aware that they need to recognise the huge effort the Chelsea away supporters make every away trip.

Diego Costa was an angry and frustrated man on Saturday. Wes Brown and John O’Shea were a constant thorn in his side all match and clearly wound him up. Costa of course is not a man to take a step back and more than gave as good as he got by meting out retribution to both O’Shea and Brown. Luckily the referee was our (Kevin) Friend in more ways than one, and chose not to over react to Costa’s form of justice. He loves a scrap does our Costa!

Finally, I laughed a lot when that odious little shit Mauricio Tarrico (Sunderland’s assistant manager) was sent off for being a gobshite. He has never been forgiven by Chelsea supporters for a horrible tackle on Graeme Le Saux and for being a Tottenham player obviously.
