If you believe Jose Mourinho, then you would think that there were no chants at all during the game so quiet was the atmosphere. In reality there were plenty to choose from, and thankfully no sight nor sound of the loathsome Gerrard song (hopefully we will hear it next week when of course it would be entirely appropriate).

In response to those nawty little QPR scamps, or QPR Twitfam (with emphasis on Twit) as they like to be known, chant to John Terry (“we know what you are”) the Chelsea faithful responded with “John Terry, he’s won more than you”. Precisely.

Early in the match we heard a loud version of Super Chelsea, always good to hear that one.

But my favourite yesterday was the perfect segue from “We’re top of the league” into “You’re going down, you’re going down” to the QPR away support. Let’s hope so!
