Rick Glanvill Q&A on Chelsea History at CST SGM This Saturday

A reminder to Chelsea Supporters Trust members that official Chelsea Historian Rick Glanvill will be attending the latest CST Special General Meeting this Saturday, after the West Brom game. He will be answering member’s questions on all aspects of Chelsea history. Whether you have a specific club history question that has been nagging away at you for years, or you just want to pick Rick’s brains about Chelsea’s past, this is the perfect opportunity to do it.

Questions can be submitted in advance to membership@chelseasupporterstrust.com or in person at the meeting, but we cannot guarantee all questions will be answered, so email them in now, with the header ‘Rick Q&A’. The best question submitted will win a copy of Rick’s book The Chelsea FC Miscellany.

SGM Agenda
There are a number of live issues of interest to Chelsea supporters at the moment, including ground atmosphere, ticketing, safe standing, the ‘overseas/39th game’ and the reported redevelopment of Stamford Bridge and temporary stadium move. All of these will be covered during the meeting, and members will have the chance to ask questions and get their points across to the board. The notice of the meeting and full agenda can be found below.

Venue
The SGM will be held downstairs in the Cellar Bar at the Finborough Arms Pub after the West Brom home game on Saturday 22nd November 2014 at 17:45.

The Finborough Arms is ten minutes from Stamford Bridge and close to West Brompton and Earl’s Court underground stations. The address is 118, Finborough Road, London SW10 9ED (map)

The pub reopened earlier this year and is very popular with Chelsea supporters, serving a great selection of real ales and craft beers and generously putting on some snacks and nibbles for us.

Attendance is open to voting members of the Trust only. Membership to the CST costs £5 per year and includes a free pin badge. You can sign up easily from the homepage of our website and we accept payment by credit or debit card or via PayPal. We hope as many of you as possible will attend in person!

Unable to Attend?
With thanks to the Chelsea Football Fancast, overseas members or those unable to attend in person will be able to listen to the meeting live and interact online at www.mixlr.com/chelsea-fancast. Minutes and a podcast of the SGM will be available following the meeting.
