There’s no getting away from the rumours of Lionel Messi to Chelsea. The Argentine leaving Barcelona has been seen as impossible for much of recent history, but changing times at the Nou Camp have led to speculation that the Blues will obliterate the world record transfer fee – the £86m Real Madrid paid Tottenham Hotspur for Gareth Bale in 2013 – to land, arguably, the greatest player of the modern era in a £200m swoop.
