Ray Wilkins believes that the Blues are still capable of winning the league!

Former Chelsea captain and assistant manager, Ray Wilkins, believes that Conte’s men are still capable of winning the league – and rightly so!

The Blues’ 1-0 defeat to Manchester City on the weekend, was our second league defeat this season. Incidentally, that loss concluded our unbeaten streak in September that included impressive victories over the likes of Stoke City and Atletico Madrid.

Despite the disappointment that Saturday afternoon ensued, former captain, Ray Wilkins told Talksport that Chelsea is still capable of winning the Premier League.

“It’s one result. “They drew 0-0 with Arsenal and weren’t very good. Arsenal were better than us on that day. We’ve lost against Burnley obviously, we’ve lost again on Saturday. But then, we’ve got to play the rest of them again, all away from home.

You know what Chelsea did to Manchester City last year away from home, they played a fantastic game against them. Therefore they’ve got to be in with a chance (of the title). The Champions League this year has also kept into their little diaries. It’s not easy to go on all fronts.”
