Here’s a preview of our forthcoming Premier League opponents.

The story so far

West Bromwich Albion have endured an exceedingly tricky start to the new Premier League season, having only attained ten points from their 11 league games. The Baggies are currently suffering from a painful period of poor form, having failed to win a game in their previous nine matches in England’s top-flight.

Tony Pulis’ side currently occupy 16th place in the Premier League, and despite their league standing, they do flaunt a relatively decent defensive record. Nonetheless, their issues have been most prominent in the striking department, with a total of only nine goals in 11 games this season. They’re facing a precarious situation, as the Midlands team are only a point above the relegation zone.

Best player

According to Whoscored, Grzegorz Krychowiak has been West Brom’s best performer this season. The 27-year-old has amassed eight league appearances for Tony Pulis’ team since joining on a season-long loan from PSG.

The Polish midfielder is highly regarded for his proficient defensive abilities, in particular, his capacity to intercept and block the ball. Additionally, the former Sevilla man is acknowledged for his ability to dictate aerial duels and his tendency to play through balls. One senses that Krychowiak will be of tremendous significance in tomorrow’s game.
