Here’s the starting eleven that Conte should choose against Liverpool at Anfield.

It’s that time once again. A trip to Anfield is only hours away. For a team that flaunts such a pitiful defensive record, it is bemusing that the press continues to depict Anfield as one of the toughest places to visit.

Without question, Liverpool’s home form is impressive, and they exhibit one of the most potent attacks in Europe. However, their defensive record is frankly shocking, and we flaunt a commendable record at Anfield too – we haven’t lost there since 2012.

This all adds to the intrigue and the excitement that surrounds the fixture. Here’s the starting eleven that we’ve chosen to face the Reds.

GK: Thibaut Courtois

The Belgian hasn’t had too much to do in our successive 4-0 wins against West Brom and Qarabag.

CB: Cesar Azpilicueta

A true fan favourite, the epitome of reliable!

CB: Andreas Christensen

The Dane’s potential is supremely vast; he’s been terrific this season.

CB: Antonio Rudiger

Rudiger has been lively and impressive for the Blues this season.

LWB: Marcos Alonso

Alonso was back on the scoresheet against the Baggies last weekend.

CM: N’Golo Kante

Kante is omnipotent.

CM: Tiemoue Bakayoko

Timmy Bakayoko, he never gives the ball away!

CM: Cesc Fabregas

Fabregas became the 3rd Spaniard to reach 20 UCL goals on Wednesday night.

RWB: Davide Zappacosta

Conte has confirmed that Moses will start on the bench.

ST: Eden Hazard

The Belgian has scored three and assisted twice in his past two games.

ST: Alvaro Morata

The Spaniard scored his ninth of the season last weekend!
