Eden Hazard was at his stunning best and was often solely responsible for the creation of purposeful goal-scoring chances. Similarly, Mohammed Salah continued his terrific form for Jurgen Klopp’s men; he was their source of creativity and invention throughout the entirety of the ninety minutes.

A mistake from Tiemoue Bakayoko gifted the Reds with the game’s opening goal. Nonetheless, the Premier League champions flaunted relentless determination to rescue the game, courtesy of a stunning goal from Willian.

The Brazilian produced an exceedingly productive display against Qarabag midweek, scoring twice and providing two assists in our 4-0 triumph, and he secured a point for the Blues with a stunning chip against Liverpool. Whether you thought his goal was intentional or not is dependent on your perception, it was an outstanding goal nonetheless.

• Eden Hazard is returning to his best form.

The Belgian is beginning to demonstrate his most explosive form this season, and his supreme string of performances were elongated against Liverpool. The 26-year-old often shouldered the reasonability of allowing the team to advance by utilising his unparalleled dribbling ability.  He also provided the assist for Willian’s decisive goal.

• Fabregas’ presence is crucial

Out of all the teams that Antonio Conte has faced in the Premier League, Liverpool is the only club that our passionate Italian has failed to beat during his reign as Chelsea manager. Despite the fact that the Blues are unbeaten at Anfield since 2012, we’ve been unable to triumph against the Reds in the previous five games in all competitions.
