This deal is plausible.

According to the Sun, Lokomotiv Moscow are interested in taking Robert Kenedy on loan for the remainder of the season.

This deal would serve as bad news for former Chelsea boss, Rafa Benitez who allegedly tried to sign the Brazilian in the previous transfer window. It was believed that the Magpies intended to reignite their interest in Kenedy. However the 21-year-old could opt to move to Russia.

Kenedy has been reduced to the three appearances in the Carabao Cup, and a loan move could be exceedingly beneficial for his hopes of establishing himself as a starter in Antonio Conte’s squad.

Lokomotiv are currently situated at the top of the Russian Premier League, and they’re eight points above to division rivals, Zenit St Petersburg.

Chelsea’s Brazilian starlet is valued at £6.3M by transfermarkt. To date, the 21-year-old has amassed 25 first-team appearances for the Blues, scoring three goals.
