Super Frank could become Oxford United’s next manager!

According to the Daily Mail, Frank Lampard is in discussions with Oxford United to become their next manager. The League One outfit sacked Pep Clotet on Monday and Lampard is allegedly in the frame to become the U’s next boss.

Evidently, as the club’s all-time leading goalscorer, Frank Lampard doesn’t require an introduction to Chelsea supporters.

The 39-year-old retired from professional football in 2016 with MLS team, New York City FC, and his return to football will be eagerly anticipated.

As the greatest goal-scoring midfielder of his generation and one of the most accomplished players to grace the Premier League, Lampard possesses an abundance of knowledge and expertise that will assist him as he seemingly pursues a career in management.

Whatever happens we wish Frank the very best, and hopefully, he’ll be in the dugout at Stamford Bridge in the future!
