According to Goal, Paris Saint-Germain have been in discussions with Thibaut Courtois’ father, Thierry, over a potential move to the Ligue 1 leaders.
The 25-year-old has been continually linked with a move away from the Premier League champions, and the Belgian has just over a year remaining on his current deal.
It has been widely speculated that Real Madrid are keen to sign the experienced goalkeeper, and Courtois has publicly disclosed his admiration of Madrid.
However, it is reported that PSG have joined the Spanish giants in pursuit of the goalie. It is believed that the French giants are keen to upgrade on their current goalkeeper, Alphonse Areola, and Courtois has been identified as one of their primary transfer targets.
Hope is not lost, Goal reports that Chelsea remains confident of convincing the former Genk man to sign a contract extension with the club.
