The Ivorian has returned to training for the Eagles.

In light of this weekend’s fixture against Crystal Palace, our league opponents have been boosted with the potential return of their talisman, Wilfried Zaha.

Despite only contributing to five goals in the Premier League this term – scoring four and registering one – the 25-year-old is of unquestionable significance to our London rivals.

He is an exceedingly talented dribbler and he is regarded as one of the most naturally gifted players in the division.

However, as Goal reports, Roy Hodgson has stressed that Palace won’t rush Zaha’s return from injury. The winger suffered a knee ligament injury in the Eagles’ clash with Newcastle in February. Thus, it’s surprising that he’s even in contention for Saturday’s game.

Hodgson has confirmed that they will assess Wilfried Zaha tomorrow (Friday) before reaching a conclusion regarding his availability against Chelsea.
