Ruben Loftus-Cheek yet to decide on his Chelsea future

Ruben Loftus-Cheek is reportedly considering his Chelsea future.

According to the Independent, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has yet to decide whether he will stay at Chelsea.

The Englishman has been in impressive form for the Eagles this season; the 22-year-old has certainly caught the eye during his time with Palace.

Despite suffering a few injury problems, the midfielder has amassed 21 appearances for our London rivals, scoring one goal in the Premier League.

It is reported that Roy Hodgson’s side are eager to make a permanent move for the player in the forthcoming summer transfer window.

While Palace are keen to keep him at the club, several Chelsea supporters are equally eager for the midfielder to be integrated into our first-team.

To date, Loftus-Cheek has already amassed 32 first-team appearances for the Blues, scoring two goals. Here’s what he said regarding his immediate future. The following quotes are from Independent.

“I really haven’t thought about what’s going to happen next season. I’ve still got a few games now. I’m focused with Palace. Whatever happens next season, I’m not really looking at that right now. I’ll deal with that when it comes.”

“The experience of being a Premier League player playing every week is just massive. The feeling of it, of getting three points, I’m just not used to it. Every game means something, the supporters are fantastic and since I’ve come to Palace I’ve learnt to fight as a team and for the three points.”

“We still have a lot of fighting to do, so I’m very grateful for Palace and for the season I’ve had.”
