Tottenham will reject all Chelsea approaches for Pochettino

It seems that our London rivals are reluctant to let their manager leave.

According to the London Evening Standard, Tottenham Hotspur will reject any approaches for Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea’s pursuit of Conte’s potential successor intensifies.

The Spurs manager emerged as a surprise contender for the Chelsea position, as Antonio Conte is widely expected to depart the Blues at the end of the season.

The article states that both Roman Abramovich and director Marina Granovskaia have been impressed with the Pochettino’s achievements at Tottenham, and he has allegedly been identified as a potential target for Chelsea.

However, Tottenham have always been reluctant in selling players to Chelsea, and it seems their stance is similar with regards to their manager. The North London side insists the only way that Argentine will leave the club is if he chooses to resign. He currently has three years remaining on his contract at Spurs, and they’re allegedly keen to offer 46-year-old an improved deal.
