Since Fabregas switched his allegiance to the Blues, he has been instrumental in winning two Premier League titles, and he even scored against the Gunners in our 3-1 victory at Stamford Bridge in the 2016/17. However, it appears that the Spaniard will be absent for our forthcoming game against Arsenal.

According to the Metro, Cesc Fabregas is primed to miss the game against Unai Emery’s Arsenal due to a knee injury. The injury sidelined him from featuring in our 3-0 triumph against Huddersfield Town on the opening weekend of the Premier League season, and it appears that he’ll be absent from league action for another week.

Despite frequently featuring in pre-season, the summer additions of Jorginho, and Mateo Kovacic suggest that Fabregas will find it difficult to establish himself as a starter in Sarri’s midfield. Furthermore, one must consider the resurgence that Barkley has experienced over the summer and N’Golo Kante’s consistently superb performances.

It’ll be interesting to see how Sarri integrates our magician this season. We wish Fabregas a speedy recovery!
