The decision to close the transfer window before the start of the new Premier League season has been widely debated, and while players cannot join teams from England’s top-tier, they can still move away. A prime example of this is Ola Aina who has joined Torino on a season-long loan.

As has been officially confirmed by the club, Ola Aina has joined Torino on a season-long loan following a successful campaign with Hull City last season. During his spell with the Tigers, the 21-year-old attained 46 appearances, scoring a single goal. Furthermore, he has also amassed six first-team appearances for the Blues.

In addition to departing on loan, the Nigerian right-back has signed a new contract extending his spell with the club until 2021.

However, there is a possibility that the Nigerian international could depart the club on a permanent basis. The loan deal reportedly includes an option to buy, as per Sky Italia, as cited by Football Italia. It’s believed that Torino have the option to sign Aina for €8M.

Whatever happens, we would like to wish Aina the best for the future. Good luck, Ola!
