Munich or Bust! The Chelsea Football FanCast #206

Chidge is joined by Dazza, The Celery Terrorist and Ross for the final countdown to Munich Munich with special guest Paul Baker, writer of England and Chelsea songs!

So Chelsea’s disappointing premier league season fizzled out on a sunny Sunday afternoon yesterday with a stroll against already relegated Blackburn. Lukaku and Sam Hutchinson got a game, JT scored, Drogba got to wave goodbye and even Torres got to run around for a bit in our 2-1 win that leaves us in 6^th position – our worst league position since Mr A took control. Bruce Buck is not happy, but who really cares, after all we’re going to Munich Munich!!

We discuss the Blackburn and hung-over match against Liverpool and award some ‘Fannies’ – for Man of the Match, Chant of the match, Guinness and Celery moments, as always.

The usual suspects are joined by Paul Baker who as well as being a massive Chelsea fan, has also penned some excellent England songs such as “Stand Up For England” and “Cabanga” including a new one for the upcoming Euros – “Sing 4 England” with Chris Kamara.

To carry on the musical theme, we’ve got another terrace classic in “Shall We Sing a Song for You!” and the best posts from the week in “You’re on CFFC”. All this plus a preview of potentially the greatest game in Chelsea’s history; a look back at the Yoof Cup win; and Chelsea’s Player of the Year

We’ll also be revealing who won last week’s vote for our second striker in the Chelsea FanCast All Time Best XI, and who the final XI are. And last but by no means least we’ll be revealing where we came in the EPL Talk awards and announcing another chance for you to vote for us in the Football Bloggin Awards and an interview with their main man.

Blimey, if that isn’t enough to keep you going until we get to Munich Munich then I don’t know what is!!!

The Chelsea Football FanCast is a weekly internet radio show dedicated to the Chels. The show is the real deal with real opinions and banter from lifelong fans that go to the games and live in the manor!

Presented by Chelsea nut David ‘Stamford Chidge’ Chidgey, the show discusses the latest Chelsea issues from the fans perspective. Chidge is usually joined by Dr Mart, ChelTel, the Blues Brothers (Stu and Chris aka The Celery Terrorist), and Ross, Pablo and Dazza Mental – the mates he goes to the games with to carry on the pub banter on the podcast. We record the show every Monday at 7.30 pm (usually!) at Putney Station Bar, near East Putney Tube station, so come and join us and sit on the ‘Benches’ and throw in a comment or a heckle or two!!
