Blimey, what a week – two full on proper games which mean we are at Wembley again and still have a 5 point gap between us and City. In the middle of all that our mate Costa gets a three game ban for apparently treading on a random Liverpool player and we got to say a proper thank you and farewell to a proper Chelsea legend. But most pleasing of all is the backs to the wall bloody minded performance against City having played 120 mins only a few days before, and the huge performances in both games by one Kurt Happy Zouma – the young Frenchman looks a real prospect.
On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the Man City game; awarding our man of the match and then asking was it 2 points dropped or 1 point gained; applauding the reception for Frank Lampard and asking who was the spanner with the banner?
After all that we’ll be looking back at last week’s second leg Capital One Cup semi-final against Liverpool and asking was Costa treated unfairly and looking forward to Spurs at Wembley and discussing Jose Mourinho’s media blackout and asking is the FA in the pocket of Sky?

Im really ‘Happy’ young Zouma is with us. I admit that pre season I thought he would be better off being loaned to get experience but Mou wanting him to be schooled on site has worked a treat. I thought when he was matched with Cahill that it was Zoumas fault Cahill played so bad. He was very nervous each timethe ball came into the box but when hes matched with JT hes been right as rain. Hes real calm for a young lad and has good spacial awareness. Hes great in the air and with the size of his head its a great target for set pieces. Hes got to be the fastest of our defenders too. Im praying we manage to get Varane in the summer. They would be like the modern Leboeuff and Desailly. Cahill unfortunately hasnt been himself for most of this season for some reason. Hes looking pale,thin,old and nervous. I have great hopes for Happy and I hope he has many great years with us.
zouma deserves to start games now. Lets buy Varane and close de case.
