It has been a fantastic season – beating Spurs at Wembley to win the Capital One Cup; Diego Costa rampaging through opposition defenders and scoring goals; Fabregas and his magic hat; Hazard and his magic feet; John Terry better than ever and peerless as Captain, Leader, Legend; saying farewell to Didier Drogba a Chelsea legend; the scousers giving us a guard of honour; winning the Premier League at a canter to become Champions again; and last but by no means least, Jose Mourinho – still the Special One! Tonight we’ll be looking back at all this and in the process announcing the winners in the Chelsea FanCast Season Awards…
On the show tonight we’ll be kicking off with the ratings for the season as written by Mark, and we’ll kick off the awards with the big one – Player of the season and then breakthrough player of the season; most underrated player of the season and most disappointing player of the season.
In part two we’ll be revealing the winners of our Goal of the season; Match of the season; away day of the season, best moment of the season and chant of the season. In part three it’s the Guinness and Celery moments of the season, and the only awards that matter: Chelsea FanCast podcaster of the season; Chelsea FanCast contributor of the season; Chelsea FanCast guest of the season.
To wrap up we’ll have all the latest Chelsea supporter news, some correspondence and the Chelsea FanCast Special Award for outstanding contribution to Chelsea supporters.
