So the moment finally came as our greatest ever manager returned to where he belongs, and quite appropriately served up a 2-0 victory against the ‘Tigers’ that was never in-doubt from the minute Super Frank Lampard blasted in a 30 yard free kick. Our only disappointment was that Jose’s second coming was not announced like the opening scene of the classic Fellini film ‘La Dolce Vita’ where a life-size statue of Jesus Christ, arms outstretched, is transported high above the Rome skyline by helicopter. Come on Roman sort it out! But when all is said and done, Jose is back and so is football!
