Gary Cahill who bossed Diego Costa, winning nearly every aerial duel that came his way and took on the leadership role at the back when Terry went off. Made a point blank headed block to deny Costa late on.
Ashley Cole aka “Mr T” barely put a foot wrong, making you wonder why he hasn’t been used more often this season to rest either full back.
John Terry who showed imperious leadership and like Cahill, was having an excellent game until landing awkwardly on David Luiz. Hopefully he’ll be fit (and Chelsea will get through) so that he can make his first appearance in a European final since Moscow.
