Fernando Torres finding himself in acres of space and an empty goal in front of him. But, surrounded by balloons our misfiring striker seemed confused at best put off at worst and instead of drilling the ball home found it cleared by Stephen Caulker. Clearly a case of “Balloon Doh”.
Azpilicueta challenges the odious Bellamy, falls over, gets back up, wins the challenge and then wins a foul. Absolute quality!
And finally, Ashley Cole, in what was possibly his last game for Chelsea was given the Captain’s armband. The Chelsea away support did their part by serenading Ash throughout the game and gave him a brilliant send off at the end of the game. Ash has been a true legend at the club and the best left back ever to grace the blue shirt.
