Kroos is widely regarded as one of the top midfielders in the world at the moment. He is an adept passer and is able to fit balls into tight windows for his teammates.

He has recently drawn praise from midfield legend Paul Scholes for his vision and passing, while the former Man United star added that he is also capable of scoring goals. Kroos put that aspect of his game on display during the World Cup as well, chipping in two goals in the 7-1 semifinal rout of Brazil. He finished the tournament with two efforts and four assists.
