Antonio Conte has confirmed that Victor Moses has returned to the matchday squad.

Our impassioned Italian manager has confirmed that Victor Moses has returned to the matchday squad for our crucial game against Liverpool.

The Nigerian wing-back has been absent for over a month with an hamstring injury that he incurred in our 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace in October.

Davide Zappacosta has deputised in Moses’ absence, and the Italian is likely to start against Liverpool, as Conte confirmed that the 26-year-old will start on the bench.

The following quotes are from ESPN.

“His condition is good.

“He needs a bit of time to recover the best form, but tomorrow he is in our squad. I want to bring him on the bench and then to decide if there is the necessity to put him in [the team] or not.

“I am very happy because now he is fine, but he needs a bit of time to find the best physical condition.”

Victor Moses was an indispensable figure in last season’s title success, and he’s also been named the Nigerian player of the year for 2017 following his alteration to wing-back.

It’s good to have you back Victor!
