Antonio Conte has been given an enormous boost before tonight’s game.

Marcos Alonso and Ross Barkley have returned to training ahead of the massive Champions League clash against Barcelona.

The Spanish defender has been an absentee for the Blues’ previous three games, including that shock defeat against Watford and our successive victories against West Brom and Hull City.

Also, Ross Barkley has been injured for the same three fixtures. The Englishman incurred a hamstring injury during training that his hindered his Chelsea career so far.

The 24-year-old has been restricted to one start and two substitute appearances for the Blues so far.

Much to Conte’s delight, the pair have returned to training ahead of the Champions League game, and they could be available for selection.

However, the Blues have David Luiz and Tiemoue Bakayoko side-lined for tonight’s game. The pair are currently injured.
