It appears that Christie-Davies is on his way to Merseyside from Chelsea.

According to ESPN FC, Chelsea youngster Isaac Christie-Davies is poised to join Liverpool on a free transfer. The 20-year-old’s contract expires with the Blues in the summer, and Chelsea have opted against renewing his deal.

Accordingly, it seems that Liverpool are prepared to pounce on Davies’ availability by offering him a move to Merseyside. If the deal is completed, then Davies will follow in the footsteps of Dominic Solanke who moved from Chelsea to Liverpool during the last summer transfer window.

The midfielder joined the Blues from Brighton and Hove Albion. He featured in Chelsea’s youth teams that won the FA Youth Cup in 2015 and 2016, in addition to winning the UEFA Youth League in 2016.

Christie-Davies had a trial period with the Champions League finalists in March, and it seems that he’s done enough to warrant a move to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
