Chelsea Football Club has confirmed that Kurt Zouma has joined Everton on a season-long loan.

2018/19 will be the second consecutive season that Zouma will spend on loan, having spent the 2017/18 season on loan at Stoke City.

Zouma will return to parent club Chelsea at the end of June 2019 after new Everton manager, Marco Silva confirmed that there is no option to buy.

Last summer, Zouma signed a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge and a loan move will help in his development as he continues to revitalise his career following the horrific anterior-cruciate ligament injury (ACL) against Manchester United in February 2016.

Zouma was Everton’s fourth deadline day signing. Everton have already signed former Chelsea target, Bernard, on a free transfer as well as Manchester United target, Yerry Mina, and Andre Gomes on a shock loan deal from Barcelona.

Good luck at Everton, Kurt!
