Chelsea FanCast on Love Sport Radio – the only 100% Chelsea show on the radio! Stamford Chidge, Jonathan Kydd, Brian Woolf from Chelsea Chicago and Richard Weekes from ‘We are the Shed’ join Charlie Hawkins to look back at last Wednesday night’s Champions League tie against Lille and look ahead to Sunday’s Premier League fixture away to Southampton.

After a good win in the Champions’ League against Lille we ask, did Frank Lampard’s Chelsea come of age on Wednesday? We also applaud Lampard’s tactical flexibility & in-game management; Tammy on target again and Willian showing us that experience is still needed.

We discuss the Pulisic issue getting the American view from Brian who runs Chelsea Chicago supporters group and also ask him what its like to follow Chelsea over land & sea when you have to travel 4,000 miles for a home match. Brian works closely with Richard Weekes from ‘We are the Shed’ to create the banners seen on match days at the Shed End and we talk to them about their work helping to create a decent atmosphere in the ground.

Looking ahead to Sunday’s match against Southampton we discuss why this is such a favourite away day. We also put it to Steve Grant from the Saints Web Podcast in the ‘Opposition View’ that the reason for this is Chelsea’s superb record at St Mary’s, as well as asking him about former Chelsea players Ryan Bertrand and Oriel Romeu before giving our predictions for the match.
